ChatGPT Plus vs Pro vs Business, Which One Suits a Small Team?
ChatGPT has Go, Plus, Pro, and Business at very different Rupiah prices. How they differ, which is enough for working alone, and when a small team should move to Business.

ChatGPT Plus, Pro, and Business differ in three ways: who uses them, how heavily, and who controls the data. Plus is for one person using ChatGPT every day. Pro is for one person with very heavy use. Business is for a team of at least two people using ChatGPT with company data, with admin controls and data that isn't used to train models by default.
Here are the details, using the prices shown on the ChatGPT pricing page when viewed from Indonesia as of October 2026.
Monthly prices
ChatGPT price per person per month, viewed from Indonesia(thousand rupiah)
- GoRp75k
- Business Standard (annual)Rp337k
- PlusRp349k
- Business Premium (annual)Rp1.685M
- Pro (from)Rp1.889M
There's also a Free plan that still lets you chat in text with GPT-6 without limits (within reasonable use), but uploads, images, voice, and deep research are limited. Go (Rp75,000, roughly US$4) raises all of those allowances, with OpenAI's note that this plan may show ads.

The Astra and Work details come from OpenAI's help page on Work and Codex. I covered the difference between Chat and Work in ChatGPT Now Has Chat and Work, So Where Does Office Work Go?.
Plus, for working alone every day
Plus already includes GPT-6 reasoning models, more generous uploads and deep research, Projects, scheduled tasks, custom GPTs, and ChatGPT Work on desktop, web, and mobile. For one person who uses ChatGPT every day to write, summarize, research, and prepare documents, I think Plus is enough.
Its limits show up in two places. First, GPT-6 Astra usage in Work and Codex is capped, and you need to buy credits once it runs out. Second, it's a personal account. If it's used for company data, the company has no control over that account at all.
Pro, for very heavy use
Pro comes in three tiers: $100, $200, and $500 a month. On the Indonesian version of the pricing page, Pro starts at Rp1,889,000. It includes the full Astra allowance in Work and Codex, longer work sessions, unlimited image creation (within reasonable use), and a Dot, ChatGPT's always-on agent.
Two things people often miss:
- Pro can only be billed monthly. There's no annual option.
- Pro isn't meant to be shared. OpenAI prohibits sharing account credentials. One Pro account used in turns by three people can have its access restricted, and everyone's data gets mixed together.
Business, once more than one person is using it
Business is priced per seat, and a workspace needs at least two seats. There are two seat types, which can be mixed and reassigned between people:
- Standard, Rp337,000 per person per month billed annually ($20 in OpenAI's USD pricing), Rp421,000 billed monthly ($25).
- Premium, Rp1,685,000 per person per month billed annually ($100), Rp2,105,000 billed monthly ($125). It has five times the Standard allowance, no 5-hour limit, and includes a Dot.
What sets Business apart isn't just the allowance. Business data isn't used to train models by default, and there's SSO and MFA, central billing, usage controls, and connections to Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, and Microsoft 365. Why that matters for company data is in Want to Summarize Your Company's Financial Data in ChatGPT? Is It Dangerous?.

So which one fits?
- Occasional questions or tidying up writing: Free or Go is enough.
- Working alone, using ChatGPT every day: Plus.
- Working alone with heavy use, lots of coding, or wanting a Dot: Pro.
- A team of two or more working with company data: Business. Start with Standard seats, then give Premium seats only to the people who really use it heavily.
An example for a five-person team billed annually: four Standard seats and one Premium seat come to about Rp3.03 million (roughly US$170) a month. Five personal Plus accounts are cheaper, about Rp1.75 million, but come without admin controls, and the data can be used for training unless each person turns that off themselves. Sharing one Pro account is riskier still.
To keep everyone's AI results consistent, pair it with shared templates as in Every Employee Gets Different AI Results, So Build Shared Templates. And if your team's AI subscriptions are already piling up, audit which ones are really used first, as covered in Team Software and AI Subscriptions Keep Growing, So Which Ones Are Actually Used?.
Wrapping up
Pick a plan based on who uses it and what data goes in, not just price. For working alone, Plus is usually enough. Once there's company data and more than one person, Business makes more sense than a personal account passed around.
