Before Building Systems, I Produced Audio for Ruangguru, From Digital Programs to Animation
The creative background behind my systems and automation work: audio for Clash of Champions Season 2, sound design for a Ruangguru animation at FFI 2022, and a guest spot on RRI Pro 2 FM.

Before focusing on systems and automation, I spent years in creative production, mostly audio. At Ruangguru I handled audio production, then worked on music and sound design for animation and digital programs. Habits from production, like deadlines that can't slip and details that have to be right, are still with me today.
Audio for Clash of Champions Season 2
After my time at Ruangguru, I was brought back specifically to handle audio for every episode of Clash of Champions Season 2. The job was keeping the audio quality right in every episode, from the start of the season to the end.

Sound design and music for Ruangguru animation
On Ruangguru's in-house animation productions, I contributed as sound designer and lead composer. One of those productions passed the recommendation stage of the Indonesian Animation and Content Industry Association (AINAKI) in the short animated film category at the 2022 Indonesian Film Festival (FFI), the selection stage before the Piala Citra nominations.

Guest speaker on RRI Pro 2 FM
I was invited as a guest speaker on RRI Pro 2 FM to talk about how creative industry people, music producers in particular, adapted their workflows during the pandemic. The discussion covered resilience, adjusting processes and keeping production going despite the limits.

What I learned
Audio production teaches the same thing as building systems: the end result is only good when the workflow is tidy. In the studio, one misnamed file can delay an episode. In a system, one skipped manual step can make a report wrong. That's why I now enjoy cleaning up workflows, then automating the repetitive parts.
