PT Damai Sejahtera Metalindo (DSM) is a company in Cikarang, West Java, that does precision machining, fabrication, Maintenance Repair & Operations (MRO), and industrial gas pipe installation. They have their own workshop, certified specialists, and a strong project portfolio, but no website worthy of showing any of it.
I built DSM's company profile website from scratch in 3–4 weeks. Not just the website: the workshop photos, team photos, and the company profile video inside it were all things I produced too.
The problem: credible on the ground, invisible online
For an industrial services company, prospective clients are usually the engineering or procurement teams at other factories. Before they ask for a quote, they need to be convinced the vendor is real and capable: what the workshop looks like, what services are offered, what certifications they hold, and what projects they've completed.
Without a proper website, DSM had no official place that answered all those questions, and no foundation at all for showing up in Google searches.
The approach: original content first, design second
I deliberately avoided stock photos. Google itself, in its creating helpful content guide, lists first-hand experience as one of the things it evaluates about a piece of content. For an industrial services company, the most honest proof is photos and video of their own workshop and projects.
- 1Page structureHome, About, Services, Portfolio, Contact
- 2Content productionWorkshop photos, team photos, and the company profile video
- 3Design & copywritingBuilt on WordPress with Elementor Pro
- 4Ready to be foundBasic SEO, a contact form, and WhatsApp
For the platform I chose WordPress with Elementor Pro. According to W3Techs, WordPress powers 40.3% of all websites worldwide. For a client, that means a full plugin ecosystem and no shortage of people who can maintain it going forward, so DSM isn't locked into one developer.
What I built
A homepage that answers "who is DSM" right away
The moment it loads, visitors see the DSM team in the workshop, a summary of the four core services, the Cikarang location, and ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications. Everything procurement usually looks for is right there on the first screen.

A services page with photos from their own workshop
The Services page covers Machining, Fabrication, MRO, and Gas Pipe Installation one by one, then the industries served, from manufacturing and automotive to energy and oil & gas. Every service is paired with a photo of the actual work in progress.

Company profile video
The About Us page has a company profile video I produced, from filming through to editing. The video shows the facility and how the team works in a way that's hard to explain in text alone, alongside the company's vision, mission, and history.
A project portfolio that can keep growing
I set up the Portfolio page as a collection of project case studies, not a plain photo gallery. Every project gets its own page explaining the context, scope of work, and results. This structure later became the backbone of the SEO and GEO work, which I cover in the SEO & GEO DSM case study.
Contact that's easy to reach
There are three ways to reach DSM: a form on the Contact page, a Google Maps location, and a WhatsApp button that stays visible on every page so prospective clients can message the admin directly.

Ready for SEO from day one
Every page has its own title, a canonical tag, an automatic sitemap, and structured data through All in One SEO. Google Site Kit connects the website to Google's tools, so performance can be tracked from the start.
